This device makes great froth of all kinds of nut milks and regular milk but I find using the device difficult. It is not easy to turn the machine on, pick the correct froth I desire than to turn off.
The instruction book is totally inadequate and does a poor job in explaining how the device works.
Like I said, it does make great froth.
I used it about 8 times and very impressed then the last time on Monday the lower unit made a large noise overheated and died. I tried to send an email to see what needed to done to replace the lower unit. The upper part is great. Tried to call the 305 number but no one answered and couldn’t leave a message. Hopefully this will solve the problem. Guy Thanks
This little machine has changed my life. Well, at least changed my day-to-day. I make my own coconut milk (allergies!) and have struggled to find a dishwasher safe, non-plastic frother that produces results to rival traditional steam frothers with this milk… until now. The build quality is excellent and the frothy goodness is barista-standard.
To get the best cappuccino foam, I use the cold froth (middle) setting first, then the big froth (first) setting, reducing the temperature to 45. The whole process takes the same amount of time for my mokka pot to brew. Perfect.
Coconut milk recipe: Add 1.5l boiling water to 200g desiccated coconut. Stir well. Steep till lukewarm, then blend at high speed for around 2 mins. Strain and press through a nut milk bag or similar. Return liquid to rinsed blender, add 1/4 teaspoon xanthan gum, blend for 30 seconds. Transfer to your airtight bottles of choice and store in the fridge once cooled. Will keep for up to 4 days refrigerated. Makes just under 1.5l. Tends to separate a little so shake well before use. Thank me later lol
