It looks great on the countertop and is easy to use. I think it's all metal parts where the water touches. The part inside the lid seemed kind of plastic-y to me but everything I've read says it's stainless. I'd love it if someone made one of these just a little bigger- I use mine mostly for tea and would love not having to add water as frequently for multiple steepings. Also, if you haven't used a gooseneck kettle before, just realize it will pour slower and if you want to make it go faster, it won't work and you'll spill over from the top of the kettle.

So far I am able to use the kettle just fine. It’s adorable and adds enjoyment and ease to my life.
